HISTORY/summary/

First authentic mention from the year 1270. 1337 registered as a village of 60 hoofs, from them 27 fiefs of vassals of the margrave of Brandenburg. 1536 and 1608 the most of the fiefs belong to the family von Sydow. 1718 the register notes 45 hoofs, property of the estate, and 12 peasants (each with a hoof), a shepherd (2 hoofs) and a miller (1 hoof). 1785 von Rheinbaben buys the estate. From the 19. to the beginnings of the 20.century the estate belongs to a few owners in a row: von Schutz (1801), von Gagern (1828), von Brauchitsch (1840), Hefrath Callmeyer from Schwedt (1843), von Piper (1850-1861), von Dobohecker/Dobenecke (1892). From the 20.century on taking hold of by the family von Grumme-Douglas; 1929 - Ferdinand von Grumme-Douglas. The estate had 1083 ha and the peasants 156 ha at this time.
